‘Gili Meno’ Accommodation
Biru Meno Bungalows is the backpackers’ choice, located on the southeast coast of Gili Meno, with sunrise views over the pretty white sandy beach, which is just in front of the traditionally-styled bungalows.
Each bungalow houses a large bedroom with a mosquito net, a private bathroom, and a terrace with cushioned bamboo sofas. There is a restaurant on site.
Malias Child Bungalows are right on the beach. These traditional wooden shacks are built on stilts, with thatched roofs, simple ceiling fans, mosquito nets and private bathrooms. There is a restaurant on site.
Sunset Gecko is a small Japanese-owned eco-resort offering a beachfront two-bedroom, two-storey traditional wooden house (ideal for families and honeymooners) with a large balcony, and private open-air bathroom with fresh water shower and toilet. Additionally, there are simple A-frame bungalows with a short walk to shared shower rooms and toilets. All rooms are fan cooled. Sunset Gecko is located on the northwest coast with a sunset view overlooking Gili Trawangan. There is a restaurant on site. Eco-friendly practice at Sunset Gecko includes composting of raw garbage, production of pure and natural handmade soap, filtration system for recycling wastewater, use of Neem oil for extermination of mosquitoes, use of naturally decomposing detergent. Kontiki Bungalows are situated on the southeast corner of the island, in the village only a few hundred metres from the beach.
