Getting to the Gili Islands from Bali
How do I get there?
Nestling in the clear blue water just off the north-west coast of Lombok, the Gili Islands are only 35km from the eastern tip of Bali.
The Gili Islands Fast Boat is the best way of getting to the Gili Islands from Bali; from there you can easily get another boat to Gili Meno, Gili Air, and Lombok.
When staying in the south of Bali, such as Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua, or Sanur, it is quicker and easiest to get to the Gilis by boat from the nearby port of Serangan.
When staying further north, such as Ubud, Amed, or Candi Dasa, it is better to take the fast boat from Padang Bai.
